Who is the right candidate for a dental implant?
There is small number of diseases that are contradiction to implant placement. There is no age limit for implant therapy, but it is not advisable for persons under the age of 18 given unfinished growth and development of their jaws.
What is osseointegration?
Osseointegration is time needed for the implant to integrate with the jaw bone, e.d. the time that has passed from the surgical positioning of the implant to the moment when that implant can be loaded.
